I've been writing code for the past 20-something years, starting with BASIC on an Amiga way back, and have since worked across languages including C++, C#, SQL, python, HTML, javascript, R and Matlab—picking up a Masters and PhD along the way. I'm currently a Development Manager overseeing four software teams, focused on geometry and maths-heavy backend algorithms hosted in the cloud using .NET and AWS. Outside of work, I'm interested in building web apps, software engineering practices, anything data related, and applied AI/ML including more recently agentic development.
